Current star formation research involves determining the geometry, variability, dust content, and evolutionary signatures of protoplanetary disks. We use Monte Carlo radiation transfer techniques to simulate scattered light images and disk heating that yields the characteristic IR excess spectral energy distributions. These and other modeling efforts are described in the talks presented below.
